My path to becoming a trainer was unconventional. I wasn't a gifted athlete in school and the gym rarely inspired me. I enjoyed working in an unrelated field, as a documentary producer.

My training career was sparked by a blessing in disguise. An injury made me realize how much I valued an active life and that I needed to take care of my body.

Seeking guidance, I worked with a trainer whose influence was seminal. I overcame chronic pain, became confident in my own skin, and found fulfillment in improving myself a little bit every day.

While training, I unplugged from everything that vied for my attention. It was an opportunity to be completely in the moment - a form of meditation.

I began to appreciate the profound connection between body and mind. The better my body felt, the sharper I was mentally. I approached projects with a new perspective: Refreshed. Focused. Ready.

Training has become a way of life: a time to be mindful and invest in myself in ways far beyond the physical. I'm grateful to the trainer who planted the seed years ago. It has blossomed and now I’m privileged to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
